Who we are looking for
We're looking for someone to coordinate the delivery of our maintenance planning programs by reviewing work requests, undertaking planning requirements, scheduling labour resources and forecasting planned works. You'll manage and implement proactive and corrective works planning, and scheduling through engagement and liaison with asset owners, contractors, internal resources, and field-based maintenance teams.
We're offering an ongoing full-time role for a Planning and Scheduling Liaison Officer. This position comes with a salary of $86,275 to $93,801 p.a. plus superannuation.
Job DescriptionWhat you'll be doing
On a day-to-day basis, you'll be:
- Reviewing and determining maintenance work priorities in conjunction with maintenance team leaders, asset owner/operators and asset systems.
- Coordinating scheduled works using the work management system to schedule maintenance programs in advance.
- Leading weekly scheduling meetings with key stakeholders and reviewing available capabilities.
- Monitoring the progress and completion of scheduled maintenance works to improve processes and ensure realistic forecast measurements.
What you’ll bring
We're looking for someone with:
- Experience using and maintaining asset information systems and work management systems.
- Trade qualifications in relevant maintenance areas such as civil, mechanical or electrical disciplines or relevant operational experience are preferred.
- A highly organised and systemic approach to planning and scheduling works.
- High-level documentation and reporting skills.
- The ability to understand technical language in relation to maintenance practices.
- Effective problem-solving skills with a sound ability to identify and effectively articulate problems and issues.
