Randstad has been given the opportunity to support the recruitment of our clients who are the leading producer of authentic frozen dimsum and dumplings. Situated in the vibrant inner-city suburb, they are dedicated to delivering delicious culinary experiences to homes and restaurants across the nation.As an experienced Plant Manager, you will oversee the production facility and be responsible for leading a team of managers in Maintenance, Production, and Health & Safety. You will play a pivotal role in driving production and operational excellence, ensuring product quality, and fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership and direction to the Maintenance, Production, and Health & Safety departments.
• Oversee all aspects of plant operations, including production scheduling, equipment maintenance, and inventory management.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to uphold food safety standards and quality control measures.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to achieve company goals and objectives.
• Cultivate a positive and inclusive work environment that values diversity and promotes employee engagement and development.
• Lead by example, demonstrating strong leadership qualities and fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and excellence.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a senior leadership role within a food manufacturing environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Demonstrated ability to drive operational performance and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a multicultural environment and effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
• Familiarity with Asian cuisine and culture is highly desirable.
• Certification in Lean Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
