Fabulous opportunity to join a well established and expanding Plumbing business with solid long-term working relationships in the position of Plumbing Operations Manager working closely with the business owner.
Key Responsibilities
- Operations Planning: Craft the blueprint for our operations, defining procedures, and setting goals to ensure efficient project execution.
- Customer Service and Delivery: Ensure top-quality service delivery, exceeding customer expectations, and enhancing satisfaction.
- Safety Planning and Control: Uphold safety regulations to protect our team and contribute to overall employee wellbeing and productivity.
- Team Management: Lead and inspire our team (15), ensuring they work together harmoniously to achieve our goals.
- Staff Scheduling: Organise work schedules to optimise productivity and minimise overexertion.
- Technical Advice and Decision Making: Provide expertise and make informed decisions to drive operational success.
- Quoting: Provide accurate and competitive quotes to clients, ensuring transparency and customer satisfaction.
- Efficiency Analysis: Analyze billable hours, job quality checks, and customer feedback reports to improve operational efficiency.
- Customer Satisfaction and Nurturing: Foster loyalty and positive word-of-mouth by prioritizing customer satisfaction
- Pricing Updates and Supplier Management: Oversee pricing updates and manage relationships with suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Operations Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency.
- Onboarding and Offboarding: Manage the onboarding and offboarding process for team members, ensuring smooth transitions.
- Technician Training: Provide training and support to plumbers to enhance their skills and expertise.
- Inventory Management: Manage inventory, including stock and tools, and oversee materials ordering to support operational needs.
The Successful Candidate
- You will have previous experience leading a team of plumbers or previous operational experience in the plumbing Industry.
- Good understanding of plumbing and laws and codes
- Are technically minded and can think outside the square together with good problem-solving skills.
- Be operational and target driven.
- You will have strong leadership and people management skills.
- Enjoy driving teamwork and collaboration.
A positive can-do attitude with the drive to resolve issues is greatly appealing. The ability to organise and execute day-to-day, activities is essential and the ability to see that all tasks are completed in full is a must.
