Your future with ATCO Structures & Logistics
Reporting to the Construction Manager, and based in Dandenong South, the Operations Manager is part of the Permanent Modular Construction (PMC) Team.
What You Will Do
The role is responsible for the safe, efficient and commercial performance of site and yard operations, and to effectively communicate customers' needs to a small team of both office and operational staff, for all logistics and building works to be completed.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Provide estimations and project execution methodology for site work, retrofitting and service work. This includes site inspections as required.
- Manage the effective execution of all site work, retrofitting and service work.
- Overall responsibility for correctness and completion of installation files, folders, certifications, QA documentation, HSE functions, bid costs and actual cost control through project execution.
- Oversee the coordination of trades, contractors and employees to endure the effective execution of works.
- Effective Hire Fleet management and cost control.
- Administer and ensure worker / subcontractor compliance with ATCO safety policies and procedures and clients site safety policies and procedures.
- Act as the point of contact for subcontractors, Construction Supervisors and other departments as required to ensure the effective programming and execution of all works.
- Recommends innovations or products as they see fit to improve processes and outcomes.

- Qualifications in construction / project management or similar with experience in a similar role.
- Proven understanding of construction processes and details.
- Strong customer service focus and ability to converse with building and construction site managers.
- Strong professional delegation and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritise and organise tasks, and demonstrated ability to adapt to changes and work at a fast pace in peak times.
