About the Role:
The Policy and Project Officer leads, supports and coordinates key tasks required to support the business outcomes of the Landscape Services Unit. Key roles include the planning and delivery of programs and projects; policy development, coordination and management; legislative, regulatory and cabinet related business; initiating and managing strategic communications; keeping abreast of relevant cabinet and government gazette information; data information management and coordination; establishing and maintaining key reporting frameworks for the branch. This role also provides advice and support on administration and governance matters where required, and will be required to prepare and/or support the preparation of government and parliamentary materials including briefing notes and relevant reports.

Contract:
Part Time (.6FTE) Contract till 27 June 2025
Special Conditions:
- May be required to participate in fire management and associated duties.
- Some intra-state travel may be required
- May be required to work out of hours
- This role has been designated as a Position of Trust pursuant to the standards required in the Australian Government Protective Security Policy Framework. By applying for this role you consent to being screened under the process of obtaining a National Police Clearance (NPC), and to the Department requiring you to obtain an NPC.
Remuneration:
$84,522 min - $94,003 max p.a., pro rata for part time hours.
