Your Team
Your new role sits within the Superannuation & Investments business unit reporting to the Head of Cash Management & Derivatives. It is part of the Investments team, which is responsible for setting the investment strategy and portfolio positioning for CFS. This includes managing our market-leading and award-winning investment options, including a series of multi-sector portfolios offering different active risk profiles and multi-manager single sector portfolios.
Your Responsibilities
You will manage physical investments in the cash asset class, in accordance with the investment objectives, compliance and risk management frameworks. You will work with a team of professionals to deliver exceptional investment performance for our funds and our clients.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring the effective management of internally managed cash portfolios relative to their stated investment objectives, guidelines and restrictions
- Assist in defining strategies and investigating new opportunities
- Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and effectively communicate investment strategies, performance updates and other relevant information
- Building and maintaining external relationships to ensure that CFS is able to take advantage of any opportunities in the cash asset class
- Implementing and maintaining robust risk management processes and ensure adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies
Your Capability and Experience
- Relevant experience in the management of cash, or related fields, preferably with a demonstrated track record of successful investments and fund management
- High level of attention to detail and ability to work and communicate well under pressure
- A strategic, innovative mindset and sound analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate complex investment concepts to both internal and external stakeholders
You might be an Associate Portfolio Manager or Senior Analyst, ideally in the cash or short- term fixed income asset classes, looking for that exciting next step or alternatively already managing portfolios and looking for an extremely varied role where you will be expected to be very hands-on.
This is an exciting opportunity in a new team where you will be able to control your own destiny and immediately contribute to improving CFS's investor outcomes.
