IPN Medical Centres support the Australian community, operating over 160 Practices across the country and providing over 10 million patient consultations each year. IPN forms part of Sonic Healthcare, a leading global healthcare company headquartered in Australia.
About the role
Provide a high standard of customer service, support and administration to staff, patients and Doctors to ensure that duties complement and support medical services delivered by the Practice.
Duties
• Manage the greeting, registration and departure of patients
• Deliver quality service and assistance to doctors working in the centre
• Ensure that the medical centre facilities are clean and tidy at all times
• Deliver quality service outcomes and support to doctors and staff working in the Centre
• Assist the Centre meet the relevant standards and legislative requirements in infection control, cold chain monitoring and RACGP standards
• Ensure accurate billings, cash collection and receipting for patient services
Skills & experience
- Previous customer service experience
- Previous experience working in a Medical Centre is desirable
- Certificate III in Health Services is advantageous
- Computer literacy and ability to quickly learn new systems
- Exceptional data entry and communication skills
- Proven multi-tasking, problem solving and time management skills
- Ability to develop quality working relationships
