Form of workWe are seeking an experienced and dedicated Dental Practice Manager to join our brand new practice in Mascot (NSW) close to Sydney Airport. This practice is part of a national group that will continue to expand across Australia. As a vital member of this practice, you will play a crucial role in launching this new practice, overseeing the daily operations, ensuring efficient workflows, team supervision, and maintaining exceptional patient care. An early April 2024 start is available and an excellent remuneration package is on offer. This role is full-time hours with flexibility, which may include a 9 day fortnight for the right candidate.
The work we do has a strong emphasis on major dental procedures, particularly, crowns, cosmetic work and dental implants.
We want to hear from you if you have:
- Previous experience working as a Practice Manager
- A go getter personality with a can do approach
- Exceptional leadership skills
- An energetic and positive approach
- Background in the dental industry and patient care
Tasks and responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Demonstrated track record in effective people management, encompassing coaching, mentoring, performance evaluation, and recruitment.
- Effectively processing and managing feedback from staff, patients and visitors including compliments and complaints.
- Exceptional leadership, cultural and teamwork focus
- A high process improvement focus with exceptional attention to detail and time management
- Financial administration: Generating various reports relating to patient statistics. Tracking billings, invoicing, expenses and completing banking activities
- Operational compliance: Ensuring standard operating procedures are followed and regular reporting is accurate, including oversight of stock orders
- Stakeholder Relationship Management: Cultivating and maintaining relationships with patients, Dentists, Health Funds, local suppliers, and other stakeholders.
- Roster Management: Efficiently managing labour ratios, budgets, and scheduling to optimise operational effectiveness.
