Who we are:
Dalkeith Medical Centre is a privately owned accredited GP Practice in the Western suburbs supporting 7 GP's delivering the highest standard of patient care daily within our community.
Position Details:
- Type: Permanent Full-Time
- Hours: 38 hours per week (Additional Hours may be required)
- Location: Dalkeith
- Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:45am – 4:45pm

Duties and Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate must have experience in:
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the clinic.
- Managing administrative tasks, including scheduling, billing, and inventory.
- Ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
- Cultivating a positive and supportive work environment for staff.
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
- Staff rostering to ensure smooth clinic operations.
- Managing physicians and their demanding schedules efficiently.
- Handling IT systems to support clinic functions.
- Managing and processing medical reports accurately.
- Handling Medicare claims, submissions, and resolving queries.
- Conducting banking tasks related to clinic finances.
- Addressing patient complaints promptly and effectively.
- Proficiency in software platforms such as HotDOC and Best Practice.
Essential Requirements:
The ideal candidate must have:
- Previous experience as a Practice Manager in a healthcare setting.
- Demonstrate reliability and exhibit flexibility.
