This well-established family practice has been in St Ives for over 30 years and has 5 lovely practitioners working within it. (3 consulting rooms so they are all working on a rotation basis).
We are looking for someone to manage the practice for approximately 22 - 25 hours hours per week Monday to Friday. These hours will include a mix of working in reception, within the Practice and off the desk within one of the consulting rooms.
The Role
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the practice.
- Managing the employee lifecycle of non-clinical practice staff.
- Maintaining and controlling debtors.
- Leading, coaching, and motivating a team to reach the practice goals.
- Implementing changes and improvements to clinical and non-clinical processes if necessary.
- Maintenance of the RACGP standards of general practice.
- Problem solving and managing clinical and non-clinical matters.
- Be first point of contact for admin and doctors.
You
- General Practice experience (either as a senior medical receptionist or Practice Manager).
- An understanding of compliance, legislative and accreditation requirements relating to General Practice.
- Proficient computer skills – Best Practice will be an advantage but is not essential.
- Ability to work autonomously, collaboratively, and professionally.
- High level attention to detail.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Happy to work at reception and support reception staff.
Hours
Monday 9am to 3pm
Wednesday 8:30am to 11:30am
Thursday 7:45am to 3:15pm
Friday 10am to 6:00pm (approx)
