Form of workWe are seeking a Practice Manager to join our busy medical centre in Everton Hills.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Practice Manager or a senior Medical Receptionist who is looking to step up.
Our practice is fully accredited with AGPAL, includes a team of 6 dedicated doctors, 2 very competent nursing staff and very friendly and supportive reception staff.
This is a part-time position for 3 days a week. However, from time to time the Practice Manager may be required to work reasonable additional hours to cover reception staff if required.
Previous experience of minimum 2 years in General Practice is essential, experience with Medical Director and Pracsoft and a detailed understanding of the Medicare Benefits Schedule is an advantage.
Some Key Responsibilities:
- Day to day running of the practice operations.
- Be able to develop and maintain a business continuity and disaster recovery plan.
- Coordinate staff employment and rosters, including annual leave cover.
- Conduct regular staff training, meetings and appraisals.
- Adhere to the practice’s policies, procedures and code of conduct
- Coordinate payroll services.
- Expand the practice to make it more profitable and meet the needs of the community.
