AddressWe have an opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join our well-established practice in Belmont NSW 2280.
As part of the team, you will be working with 4 doctors and 2 other Registered nurses in a well-established team that is looking for someone else that thrives on being busy and shares empathy and compassion to our patients.
The position is 3 days per week or 16-24 hours per week and can be negotiated as casual or permanent part-time.
Key duties and responsibilities will include:
Reporting to, and with the support of, the Practice Manager, you will be a vital member of the team in contributing to the success of the Practice, with key responsibilities entailing:
- Wound Management
- Immunisations
- Procedures
- Health Assessment and chronic disease management plans
- Treatment Room & Stock Management
- Triage – over the phone and in person
- Infection Control
- Accreditation
- Quality improvement
- Administer vaccinations and medications as prescribed by physicians.
- Maintain accurate patient records and uphold strict confidentiality.
- Collaborate with the medical team to deliver comprehensive patient care.
- Offer health education and support to patients and their families.
- Coordinate patient appointments and follow-up care.
- The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:
- Minimum of 12 months nursing experience, General practice experience is not required, but preferable
- Immunisation Accreditation
- Current AHPRA Registration
- Current CPR Certification
- You will be required to provide full working rights and a current Working with Children Check and Police Check (or apply for these prior to commencing employment.).
- Qualified Practice Nurse with relevant certifications.
- AHPRA registration and eligibility to work in Australia.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
