Form of workErina Fair Medical Care is a busy, well established medical practice, seeking an additional part time nurse (RN, EN or New grad) 4 - 5 days per week.
The ideal candidate would then be available for more days to cover sick leave and holidays of the other nurses.
Working in a team of nurses, you will generally work with 2 or 3 other nurses.
About you:
- Great computer skills
- Childhood immunisation experience
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Motivated with the ability to multitask
- Friendly personality
- Willing to upskill and if new to practice nursing, willing and able to learn.
About the role:
- 4-5 days per week
- Flexible availability - you are able to cover extra days when other nurses are on leave.
- Comprehensive Medical Centre and skin cancer clinic
- Working with up to 14 GPs on any given day
- Best Practice Software
- Working with 2-3 other nurses each day
Duties Include:
- ECG
- Immunisations (childhood, travel, Covid19, flu)
- Wound management
- Assisting with procedures
- Ear syringe
- Health Assessments
- Assisting GP's in all facets of general practice
- Stock ordering
- Sterilisation
- Assisting skin cancer procedures
- Iron infusions
- Cervical screening
- Triage
- Recall and results management
