AddressPricing Manager- Salary of £60,000 - £75,000 (National) or £75,000 - £90,000 (London)
A vacancy has arisen within our commercial insurance pricing team at Aviva. We are looking for a Pricing Manager to assist in the development and implementation of technical and street pricing strategies for SME Commercial products.
A bit about the job:
The regional SME pricing team is based in Perth and London, with time split between the office and working from home. Part of the team is responsible for reviewing and changing prices for Commercial Motor, Property and Liability business, and the other part is focussed on the development of analytical tools.
This role could fit into either, depending on the successful candidate.
Working within a team of pricing experts, the role will be responsible for delivering accurate technical and street pricing on commercial lines of business and for developing and enhancing the analytical framework that supports this.
The role's duties & responsibilities:
Co-ordinate the pricing vision for Aviva's Commercial SME business
Develop new and innovative ways of understanding and management of customer risk features
Contribute to the development, implementation and maintenance of rating structures, cost models and street pricing for a sub set of Commercial accounts
Monitor the performance of Commercial pricing decisions and use insight to recommend pricing recommendations, underwriting actions and product enhancements
Support the development of Commercial pricing processes, support projects and BAU initiatives to deliver growth and performance
Skills and experience we're looking for:
Strong analytical skills - ideally experience with R / Python / Excel / MS Office
Highly numerate (gained by experience or/& qualification)
Self-motivated and ability to work under pressure both in isolation and with other business areas
Ability to manage and prioritise given workload with business objectives
A strong attention to detail and accuracy

Salary of £60,000 - £75,000 (National) or £75,000 - £90,000 (London) (depending on skills, experience and qualifications).
Bonus opportunity 10% of annual salary. Actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva's.
