An exciting opportunity exists for a Pricing & Product Development Analyst to support strategic planning, business development, Product Development and pricing. Reporting to the Manager Pricing & Product Development, day-to-day activities will include but not limited to:
Collaborating with the Commercial team to make strategic and investment decisions for the business
Presenting complex information to the wider business
Maintaining Pricing and Demand Forecasting Models, and continuously updating them to incorporate changes in the business and energy market
Supporting Commercial & Industrial Business Development and Account Management team to participate in tender, support development of contract structure, terms and conditions
Identifying value-add product for customer and developing pricing model for emerging products
Supporting Risk Management team to measure the risk and return of retail products;
Collaborating with Portfolio Management team to develop the optimal portfolio for the business
Supporting the retail business to develop strategic business plan, market segmentation, and innovative customer solutions
We're looking for someone with:
Minimum 2 years experience in pricing / commercial analysis
Experience within derivatives, analysis and financial markets
Tertiary qualifications in Finance or Quantitative disciplines
Previous experience in the electricity market will be beneficial
You will come across as detail minded but with the ability to see the bigger picture. Strong communication skills with a knack for continuous improvement and excellent stakeholder relationship skills are key attributes to be successful in the role.
