About the Role:
The role supports the Executive Director and members of the executive management by providing authoritative strategic and operational advice to regional leaders on a wide range of legislative, policy, and procedural issues to ensure quality executive decision making.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to;
Directly support the Executive Director by leading Regional Operations and Corporate Governance functions, and will work closely with other senior leaders to continually drive quality, efficiency and improvement in service delivery across the region.
Work closely with the leadership team, and communicate frequently with internal and external stakeholders, as well as managing sensitive and varied subject matter.
Be skilled in driving accountability and outcomes in a team environment, while building a culture of capability, continuous growth, and precision.
Initiate, lead and manage the Regional Operations and Corporate Governance Team who provide high-level regional operations, governance and services within the region.
Provide authoritative strategic and operational advice to regional, leaders on a wide range of legislative, policy and procedural issues.
Oversee governance processes that manage the regions enquiries and complaints in line with the Department's Customer Complaints Management policy and procedure, including reporting and records management.
Provide authoritative advice and support regional staff to ensure the regional office has quality systems and governance processes for the management of complaints, internal and external communications, community engagement and regional operations.
Manage, on behalf of the Executive Director, the preparation of complex reports, submissions, presentations, and briefs, in accordance with the Department's processes.
Highly desirable skills and experience;
We're looking for a professional and personable leader who is comfortable in a fast-paced environment, and experienced in translating strategic priorities into action.
Be comfortable leading a broad range of corporate services, navigating state government agency networks, and will be an excellent communicator.
