Position Profile: We are seeking an enthusiastic and suitably experienced person for the role of Principal Data Management Officer.

This is a Recruitment Pool for Permanent and Fixed Term Full Time appointments with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.

As part of the Department of Health Information and Performance Governance Unit, the Principal Data Management Officer is responsible for the ongoing development and maintenance of a number of data collections and registries required for statutory purposes, supporting care provision, research, planning and system wide performance monitoring, evaluation and reporting.

This role is ideal for a person who has experience in the creation and management of information assets (data, records, and information) with project management experience. Information management is rapidly evolving and skills in this area are highly desired by Governance agencies who have responsibility for the safekeeping, use and disclosure of information about our citizens.
