Job description
The role Reporting to the Manager, Cost Assessment and Advisory team,you will be responsible for:
* Leading, developing and refining models and costings which will determine funding requirements and the allocation of funds.
* Provide costing advice and information to key stakeholders in a relevant, accurate and timely manner.
* Undertake complex modelling and costing associated with the development of enterprise bargaining agreements.
* Liaise effectively with key stakeholders and represent Queensland Health at high level meetings.
The successful personYou will have demonstrated:
* Experience in leading modelling & costing activities using advanced Microsoft Excel in a large complex organisation.
* Experience in understanding, leading and implementing multi complex enterprise bargaining agreements.
* Experience in applying best practice financial modelling techniques.
* Proven expert issue identification, analytical and research skills, problem solving skills and a demonstrated ability to develop innovative, sensitive and practical solutions and provide advice on complex issues.
* Advanced oral and written communication skills, including the ability to interact effectively with senior personnel and maintain positive and effective client and team relationships.
* Ability to work independently in line with the broader objectives of Finance Branch including an understanding of employment equity, anti-discrimination, occupational health and safety and ethical behaviour.
