What you'll do
- Provide technical and consulting services to mining clients.
- Act as Mining Lead, Project Manager, Project Engineer on EPCM and DE and Project Delivery scope/projects.
- Lead and/or deliver technical and engineering work on Concept, PEA, PFS, and FS technical studies.
- Support and work on technical and engineering execution of mining projects.
- Provide input into business development strategies, and maintain/expand professional networks.
- Site visits and work on sites as required.
- Services will include:
- Mine planning and design.
- Mining method selection.
- Mine optimisation.
- Cost estimates (CAPEX and OPEX).
- Equipment selection.
- Project and study management.
- Due diligence and technical audits.
- On-site support.
- Peer reviews
What you'll have
- Fifteen years of operational hard rock experience in UG mine design and scheduling (experience in Block Caving and/or Sub-Level Caving highly regarded).
- In-depth familiarity with Deswik, Studio UG and other mining industry approved software.
- Experience and familiarity with NI43-101 and/ or JORC compliant studies highly regarded.
- Willingness to travel.
- Degree in Mining Engineering.
