The Queensland Government has launched Homes for Queenslanders – an ambitious plan for a fair and sustainable housing system that ensures better housing outcomes both now and for future generations.

Social and Affordable Housing Programs supports the delivery of the Homes for Queenslanders objectives through delivering innovative and accountable program development and management for the Department’s investment in housing and homelessness services.

If you understand customer and stakeholder perspectives, and in particular have an appreciation and understanding of the role and perspective of the housing and disability sectors to achieve better housing outcomes for people with disability, can consider wider national and state reform, and organisational objectives, when making decisions and going about your work, and have the ability to build and maintain productive relationships, communicate, negotiate, influence, network and consult with internal and external stakeholders, we encourage you to submit your application.

It outlines the government's vision for a fair and sustainable housing system under five key pillars.
