The Public Sector Commission (PSC) is seeking a Principal Policy Officer for a 12 month temporary appointment to deliver a transformative piece of work for the Complaints Clearinghouse Governance Unit.
Your opportunity:
As the Principal Policy Officer, Complaints Clearinghouse Governance Unit you will form part of a small, strategic and motivated team playing a key role in leading the development of legislation, frameworks and policies to align with the government's strategic goals and objectives.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
leading development of legislation and policy concepts
providing high level authoritative advice
liaising and partnering with stakeholders both internal and external to the sector
drive team collaboration and mentor others through strong communication
You will have:
strong engagement skills
experience working in multi-faceted teams
exceptional strategic policy and program delivery experience
high level organisation and time management capabilities
highly developed communications skills
