What You'll Do:
As the Principal Product Manager for Onboarding & Retention, you will be at the forefront of optimising our customer journey from their first site visit through to their first trade and beyond. Your role will focus on enhancing the onboarding process and driving long-term customer loyalty through strategic initiatives and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy & Vision
- Define and communicate a strategic vision for onboarding and retention.
- Identify key user segments and tailor strategies to meet their specific needs.
- Stay informed on market trends and competitive landscape to keep us ahead.
Onboarding Optimisation
- Analyse and optimise the customer funnel from site visit to first trade.
- Implement conversion rate optimization (CRO) techniques to improve user activation.
- Work closely with UX/UI and marketing teams to enhance the user experience and streamline onboarding processes.
Product Development & Process Re-engineering
- Lead the development and launch of new features aimed at improving the onboarding experience.
- Re-engineer existing processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive and comprehensive execution of initiatives.
User Engagement & Retention
- Develop and refine subscription propositions to enhance customer loyalty and satisfaction.
- Build and manage the Voice of Customer retention program to gather insights and drive improvements.
- Design and implement strategic customer journeys and tactical interventions to boost retention.
Data & Analytics
- Utilise data analytics to measure and improve onboarding and retention efforts.
- Conduct forecasting and predictive analysis to inform strategy and decision-making.
- Implement A/B testing and other experimentation methods to optimize product features and processes.

Experience
- 7+ years of product management experience, preferably in fintech or a related industry.
- Proven track record of managing and launching digital products with a focus on user onboarding and retention.
- Familiarity with UX/UI principles and best practices.
- Experience with data analytics tools and methodologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field. An advanced degree is preferred.
