The Role and our Branch
Statewide Services provides the services and supports required by schools to enable student achievement, with a focus on those students and schools that need it most. It encompasses both school and system-facing service delivery. While it primarily exists to support schools, it also has an important system-facing role supporting strategy and policy development.
Service Delivery is the key interface with schools. Its purpose is to plan, coordinate and deliver targeted services that support schools and regions to improve student achievement.
The Primary, Early Childhood and Education Support Directorate provides coordinated services and expertise with a focus on schools identified as requiring support to improve the achievement of their K-6 students. It also performs a similar function for education support schools and centres.
The branch coordinates and brokers access to responsive support for early childhood initiatives and contributes to relevant strategic initiatives in primary education. It provides advice and subject matter expertise to schools, regions, and the system in relation to primary, early childhood and education support, and manages programs and initiatives that provide specialist and/or targeted servicers to schools with primary-aged students.
The Primary, Early Childhood and Education Support Branch is seeking to appoint a highly motivated and dedicated individual to the role of Principal Project Consultant - Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Early Years Link (CaLDEYLink) to join their team.
