About the Role:
Responsibilities include, but not limited to;
Plan, conduct and assist with operational and efficiency of assurance site visits (reviews) of the department's Health, Safety and Wellbeing Management System as they relate to Information Technology and Design (ITD) practical workshops and ensure quality assurance over the work performed.
Provide school principals and ITD Heads of Department with practical advice and recommendations, which will form the basis for improved monitoring, development and delivery of the department's Health, Safety and Wellbeing Management System.
Actively assist in the development of data analytics, and findings management capabilities, with a view to enhance the monitoring capability of the delivery of the HSW Assurance Program.
Conduct post-implementation reviews of systems and proposed strategies to determine the adequacy of the action in improving health, safety and wellbeing operations and performance.
Prepare written reports for the consideration of Organisational Safety and Wellbeing Management outlining findings, priorities and remedial action agreed with participating schools in the HSW Assurance Program.
Provide helpful and practical advice and guidance to clients with respect to improving the effectiveness of governance, risk management and control processes over their health, safety and wellbeing management.
Take a leadership role in providing HSW support to the team, ensuring cohesive collaboration and efficient utilisation of HSW Assurance resources, including human, physical, and financial resources, within allocated time and budget.
This role will work within Organisational Safety and Wellbeing team with a focus on continuous improvement and customer focused principles. While the HSW Assurance Team is based at Brisbane Central Office, the location of this role can be based within any Department Regional Office.

This position has high travel requirements throughout the school term and must be willing to travel.
