An exciting opportunity exists to lead engagement, build relationships, develop policy, implement initiatives and prepare advice and briefings that respond to priorities and position the work of the HR Branch as the Principal Project Officer. This position is offered as a temporary full-time position.

The Workforce Policy and Integrity team of HR Branch plays a key role in implementing strategies and actions to mitigate risk, contribute to themanagement of the department's governance framework, build a strong culture, support leadership, and sustain workplace integrity. Working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners the role ensures responsiveness to current and future needs.
Your role:
Responsibilities include:
- Provide high level advice and support with respect to the development and implementation of strategic policy initiatives as they relate to workforce, with a focus on integrity.
- Research, analyse and prepare significant policies and projects that respond to changes in the broader environment.
- Lead engagement across the branch, the department, key stakeholders and other agencies to develop briefings, initiatives and policy.
- Participate in and lead aspects of significant projects.
- Contribute to the establishment of performance and accountability frameworks including indicators, measures and reporting.
