In the of the Principal Technical Manager you will be involved in the planning, delivery and operation of the Electrical and Intelligent Transport Systems Infrastructure projects across the Queensland electrical network. The position will provide high level leadership to multiple teams to ensure effective and consistent coordination of key operational activities and resources.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the Program Manager in developing policies, strategies and practices for managing and optimising delivery of electrical services on the road network.
- Identify potential risks and provide solutions to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of the projects and systems.
- Provide authoritative, strategic and operational advice to management and staff on Intelligent Transport Systems / Electrical and Special Infrastructure
- Due to this role having access to sensitive data, a criminal history check will be undertaken prior to appointment to the role.
- Valid Queensland ‘C' class driver's licence or equivalent.
- Qualifications in Project Management
- An electrical background, such as electrician or electrical engineer with an understanding of appropriate electrical standards
- Demonstrated experience in delivering Intelligent Transport Systems & Electrical programs of work
