My client is seeking a highly organized and dedicated individual to fill the role of House Manager for a busy family. The House Manager will be responsible for the seamless operation of the household, ensuring all domestic duties are performed efficiently.
About The Family
A family of 4 plus a fur baby, my client owns and operates multiple businesses in both QLD & NSW. Both the husband and wife are active in each of the businesses leaving minimal time for their life management. Due to their travel requirements, the successful candidate will need to be available for proxy parenting duties (approx 1 - 3 nights per month). Confidentiality, discretion and maturity are critical requirements for this role.
The Role:
We are seeking a highly organised and experienced House Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a residence in Benowa for a HNWF.
Responsibilities:
This is a domestic help role, focusing on ensuring the smooth running of the household on a daily basis. Some of your responsibilities will include but are not limited to the below:
- Cleaning and organising the residence to the highest standards.
- Meeting and coordinating with contractors for maintenance and renovations
- Stocking the fridge and managing household supplies
- Meal preparation and serving as required
- Managing personal calendar and kids schedules
- Helping children with homework when required
- Running personal errands as and where required
- Working closely with the Executive Assistant
- Paying bills
- Sourcing/Negotiating and Managing trades
- Hours: 10.30am - 6:30pm
About You:
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A warm personality with a drive to deliver over and above expectations
- A passion for cooking with a focus on nutrition and variety.
- Strict ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and requirements
- Love pets
- Proven experience as a House Manager or similar role in a HNWF setting advantageous
You will be working with a warm and loving family where their highest priority is quality time together. This role will enable both parents to enjoy quality time with their children at the end of the day. Both parents are experienced leaders and their work ethic focuses on fair exchange and respecting others. The children are well behaved and loving and the house is happy and harmonious albiet sometimes chaotic.
Note: Would suit someone who has worked in a similar background, a superyacht stewardess, a childcare manager, or someone from within the health/community services industry.
