The successful candidate will guide the Water Treatment Team in operating the plant, equipment and infrastructure in compliance with operating standards, procedures and defined processes to achieve optimal outcomes. FIFO from Brisbane is offered for this full time 6 month position with the option to extend.
Duties:
- Analysis of data to ensure safe delivery of Potable Water and Treated Effluent to the relevant standards and Licenses
- Providing recommendations to Lead Operator and Operators for optimal performance of treatment plants
- Executing and managing data activities to plan through the management of people
- Standardization of data management and recording
- Delivering optimal results from the resources allocated, leveraging off any improvements tools or functions available
- Monitors expectations, understanding and application of maintenance processes with the team to support compliance with local requirements
- Provides guidance in the optimization of equipment
What we are looking for:
- Tertiary Qualifications in Water/Process Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years demonstrable experience working in a similar environment.
- Construction Induction “White” Card.
- Current manual driver’s license.
- Ability to pass regular drug and alcohol testing.
- Ability to obtain a National Police clearance.
- Ability to pass a QLD Coal Board Medical.
