Manage a diverse range of projects across various sectors, contract activities and guide all procurement within the organisation. Reporting to the head of City Legal, use your expertise to provide advice, leadership and direction to the procurement and contracts team.
Key requirements:
- Background in law highly regarded
- Strong ability to build relationships and lead a team
- Highly regarded if the candidate has experience implementing new approaches and technologies that enhance procurement efficiency and effectiveness
Key responsibilities:
- Strong analytical skills to help provide guidance and operational leadership driving procurement and contracting activities towards organisational goals
- Develop and execute strategic procurement plans that align with the City's goals and objectives
- Strategic direction and leadership will lead to enhanced collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, improved engagement with suppliers, departments, and leadership.
