About your new role
Working in the Procurement Planning and Development Team, the Procurement Development Officer is responsible for promoting a culture of contemporary, compliant and competitive services through quality management and best practice procurement strategies.
In this diverse position, you will play a key role in developing and delivering high-quality strategies, frameworks, processes and training to our team members to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the procurement function.
What you bring to your new role
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Well-developed training and facilitation skills.
- Experience in developing associated training materials including procedural documentation.
- Experience working with legislation, policies and procurement processes.
- Effective and engaging communication skills with the ability to prepare written documentation to a high standard.
- Ability to problem solve, present solutions, and effectively disseminate information.
- Attention to detail, task prioritisation and time management skills.
While experience in procurement or contracts will be beneficial, it is not essential, as we will provide the necessary context and support.
