Procurement Manager

Our client is a fast paced, dynamic manufacturing organisation who are seeking a Procurement Manager to join their growing team. This newly created role will report to and partner with the Procurement Director jointly responsible for all purchasing activities across the Australian business.  You will be working in a strategic, hands on, end to end role based in Southern Sydney along the M5.

Some key responsibilities will include:

• Integrating sourcing plans and price planning processes
• Managing Request for Tender (RFT) processes
• Establishing strong business partner relationships to ensure mutual requirements are met
• Providing guidance to the business, including budgeting, forecasting, risk management
• Evaluating vendor performance ensuring it meets or exceeds performance standards
• Devising procurement strategies to enable delivery of business unit goals
• Conducting cost analysis and data retrieval and identifying improvements to be targeted

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

• 5 years+ experience in a similar Procurement role 
• Worked in Manufacturing, FMCG or Food & Beverage industries
• Strong end-to-end procurement process experience 
• High level of communication, negotiation & rapport building skills with stakeholders & suppliers
• Proficiency in computer systems, and experience using SAP
• Be a team player with good collaboration skills
