Your Role:
Working closely with the Procurement Manager, you will lead the tendering process (end-to-end) for a number of tenders primarily for the Asset Management business group and contribute to the development of a sourcing strategy that aligns with the organisations' procurement spending thresholds and pathways
Some of your key activities will include:
- Preparing scopes of work (including planning & sourcing) for the Asset Management function of the business for a range of tenders including facilities management, repairs & maintenance of assets and properties, electrical & cleaning services etc.
- Preparing tender documents including uploading to portal
- Ensuring compliance with the procurement practices of the business and NSW Government Procurement (BUY.NSW)
- Assisting in the evaluation of tenders as part of a committee, appointing suppliers, and assisting with negotiating and implementing contracts
- Writing concise and user-friendly documentation that adheres to government style procurement processes, internal frameworks and management systems
- Assisting the team with participation and facilitation in meetings
- Updating and monitoring a contract sourcing framework to ensure compliance with the organisations Procurement Policy and Procedures
Required Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience in a procurement role (with direct experience in tendering RFT | RFQ) and ideally for services relating to asset management |maintenance
- Exposure to the procurement practices of NSW Government Procurement (BUY.NSW) is highly desirable
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with the capability to interpret and document requirements
- Project management experience
- Experience using document management systems (Content Manager) and SAP an advantage
