About the Role
The purpose of the role is to manage all aspects of the Product Development process to deliver products and initiatives to market which align with the jointly agreed business priorities of our strategic partner.
- Be an Integral member of the Asia Pacific Commercial and Product Development Teams
- Lead the delivery of all product initiatives (NPD & EPD) for your site and selected national activities
- Be an integral member of your local site leadership team
- Actively lead and support the site through cross functional engagement and collaboration
- Manage projects through our business stage & gate & communication platforms
- Maintain effective communication lines up and down the business to support the ongoing delivery of business growth
- Work closely with the relevant roles and teams of our exclusive supply partner Woolworths
- Support / Lead all aspects of product design including, but not limited to;
- Primal, Process, Raw Materials, Packaging & Technology
- Coordination of all product validation requirements required for delivery of agreed projects and initiatives
- Organoleptic, Benchmarking, Microbial, Sensory
- Partnership with suppliers to deliver innovation of product and process, quality improvements, cost savings and support to the Hilton business.
About you..
- Tertiary qualification in Food Science and/or related discipline desired but not essential.
- Proven capability to Deliver within FMCG fast paced environment
- Strong commercial acumen
- Critical decision-Making Skills within agile environment
- Solid appreciation of Product Development & Quality Assurance practices
- Ability to deliver and understand, regulatory product specification details
- Exceptional influencing, communication and stakeholder management skills
- Extensive collaboration skills with the ability to build successful working relationships and deliver win/win outcomes
- High level of computer literacy including Microsoft Office suite
- Previous experience in managing teams
