We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Product Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing our core portfolio of sustainable specialised textiles and polymer products, with applications in shade, agriculture, landscaping, and environmental protection.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic product plans to drive growth and profitability in targeted markets.
- Conduct market mapping and analysis to identify key trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape.
- Utilise customer insights to understand needs and preferences, and drive product development initiatives.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, sales, and marketing teams to bring new products to market and enhance existing offerings.
- Support market development, showcasing our product’s protective attributes (e.g. Cancer Council endorsement of shade products) sustainable solutions and closed loop manufacturing
- Lead product launch activities, including pricing strategy, promotional campaigns, and sales enablement.
- Monitor product performance and market dynamics, and recommend adjustments to strategy as needed.
- Maintain a strong technical understanding of our portfolio of our specialised textiles to effectively communicate product features and benefits.
- Develop and implement strategies and projects to drive category growth in terms of market share, new users, usage frequency, and differentiating benefits.
- Work collaboratively across global regions and with Marketing, Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Trade, and Sales counterparts, both locally and globally
- Be active in the market with our B2B commercial customers, end users and influential associations
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience in product management within the building materials, textiles, or related commercial industries.
- Demonstrated expertise in market mapping, analytics, and customer insights.
- Strong technical acumen with the ability to understand and articulate complex product specifications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and levels.
- Results-oriented mindset with a track record of driving successful product launches and achieving business objectives.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Experience of prioritising multiple, concurrent projects with a collaborative approach
