The crew is accountable for the people placements, remuneration and remuneration analytics, performance, Listening and Recognition for the bank and looks to execute and optimise the key people processes that make an impact in our employees everyday work life at the CBA

Leaders will be enabled through education, insight and solutions to bring out the best in their team members so that they can, in turn, deliver their best to our customers.
The Product Owner for People Listening and Recognition is key in developing this capability across the group and will set the direction and execution of the Banks focus on ensuring our people are heard and recognised for the contributions that make.
Do work that matters
- Define product vision, goals and roadmap, aligned to Crew objectives and purpose, and engage with key stakeholders (Business and Technology) to manage it’s delivery and to identify, articulate and manage risks, dependencies and compliance across streams of work e.g. customer propositions
- Accountable for end-to-end value delivery and product lifecycle management (including managing requirements lifecycle, production deployment and release day coordination and sign off). Works with the squad and the crew to determine who is best to perform change request and delivery framework related administrative tasks
- Act as the voice of the customer and business and translate this for the squad and to be accountable for addressing impediments, driving decisions and resolving escalations
- Drive product exploration (e.g. using design thinking and analytics) and formulate hypotheses to validate product strategy / design
- Ensure all obligations across customer, regulatory, internal policy and process frameworks (e.g. GDF, PDDP, RiC) are fully met and satisfied
- Maintain a healthy and prioritised backlog to deliver business and customer outcomes. Manage senior business and technical stakeholders to ensure that prioritisation is understood and agreed to in addition to managing the squad’s performance to defined objectives including OKR tracking, etc
- Role model continuous improvement and customer focus as well as drive squad effectiveness and agile maturity i.e. sprint burn down, release burn up, and squad/team health in partnership with Agile Coaches and Performance Leads
- Managers typically from delivery, product management, business analysis, scrum master or project management backgrounds
- 3+ years of demonstrated product knowledge, understanding of our customers needs, and delivery experience
- Ability to translate a product vision to roadmap and backlog
- Deep understanding of the Product’s marketplace and broad understanding of multiple business areas and domains
- Problem-solving, decision-making and prioritisation skill
