Reporting to the Project Support Supervisor, the Product Support Advisors will perform a hands-on role which requires you to carry out diagnostic repairs, maintenance and warranty service letters, improvement programs on customers Caterpillar equipment. You will need to provide procedural support as an advisor/consultant on maintenance and technical issues, whilst also undertaking regular equipment inspections. These positions will be responsible for looking after all Caterpillar fleet plus one major emphasis on surface mining drills. The two PSA's will work back to back on an 8/6 roster, one with drills experience and the other traditional Caterpillar fleet.
The Product Support Advisor will ensure all duties are performed in accordance to customer's expectations and specifications while delivering optimum performance throughout the machine lifecycle.
Location: Pilbara Region (Iron Bridge)
Roster:
8 days on, 6 days off, 12.5hr shifts (inclusive of 30 mins. break)
To be successful the following is required:
Australian-recognised Heavy-Duty Trade Certificate with post trade experience
Ability to provide high-level technical support
Sound diagnostic skills
Advanced ability to interpret repair & fault-finding guides
Understanding of warranty provisions
Demonstrated ability in providing exceptional stakeholder engagement
Strong communication skills
Heavy equipment product knowledge on various Caterpillar equipment
