Alstom’s well regarded Metronet project team, based in Bellevue are excited to welcome a Production Controller into the business. A well-established team of passionate and inclusive individuals, supportive and empowering leadership group and production process that is humming along but with big plans for continued improvements and efficiencies, will be music to the ears of our successful incumbent. 
Reporting to the Industrial Planning Manager, this is an opportunity to gain exposure to global practices and be part of a ramp up phase of a significant rail project, based in Perth.
Fundamentally, this role schedules and controls the daily operations on the production line in accordance with the Master Productions Schedule (MPS). Additionally, you will; 
-Manage end to end work order activities through ERP system (we use SAP) with a keen eye for detail in the management and analysis of data 
-Liaise across multiple teams, gathering information, providing inputs and updates in relation to schedules and operations
-Understanding, mitigating and implementing plans to enable continuous flow of materials as required by the production team
 
About you
Your approach and application of skills in any industry is what we are looking for! So, if you’re outside of rail and use an ERP system other than SAP – good news for you! What is important to us, is that
-You are proven in connecting plans with intentional, practical actions and solutions in a production or operational supply chain environment
-You are adept in using an ERP system in a production scheduling or controlling role
-You understand the concepts around material or industrial planning, inventory management and/or logistics
-You are experienced and thrive in working pragmatically in response to a formal guideline (in our case, the MPS) to control daily activities and meet KPI’s
-You describe yourself as customer or goal oriented with excellent data analysis and excel skills
