What are we looking for?
We are seeking a Production Engineer who will be integral in providing engineering support in our purpose-built workshop to manufacture and assemble mining machine components. You will have experience in a similar role in a manufacturing environment, ideally in the HV industry. Experience in process improvement & automation will be highly regarded.
About the Role:
- Provide engineering support to manufacture and assemble mining machine components
- Review and improve production and operating efficiencies by implementing continuous improvement practices
- Work with manufacturing and quality teams to verify first of product type acceptance
- Develop new factory layouts for new production facilities
- Prepare SOPs, ITPs and delivery reports
- Develop production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products
- Conduct periodic production inspection for quality compliance
- Review, analyse and eliminate failure modes within new developments
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering - Mechanical or Production
- 2+ years in similar role
- You will bring with you hard skills in 3D CAD systems
- Experienced in production planning & scheduling
- Experience working within ISO 9001 QMS or similar
- Team player who puts our clients and outcomes first
- Comfortable engaging & communicating with internal & external contacts
- Ability to work independently to deliver on tasks/milestones
- Flexible in your approach and willing to get in and get the job done
- Effective communicator across cultures/languages and understand cultural nuances

Hours: Permanent full-time role - 38 hours p/w
Salary: $75-$85k (based on exp.) + super
