Reporting to the Production Manager the Production Learning & Development Coordinator will play a crucial role in ensuring the Production training system is maintained and consistently improved. The Coordinator will also provide development to the online equipment trainers and line leaders, in a train-the-trainer capacity. The role plays an important part in supporting the implementation of 5S initiatives, visual management practices and safety standards and ensuring ongoing compliance throughout the Production team. As a key part of the manufacturing team, the Coordinator will also support the Manufacturing Supervisors with the identification and Development of line leaders and will model the way with the Jurlique Mindsets and Behaviours.
The position is responsible for:
Coordinate quarterly training programs with Supervisors by agreeing skill gaps, briefing trainer and trainee on requirements, and monitoring training progress to address any issues encountered
Coordinate re-certification program for Production team members
Ensure accurate and auditable training records for Production training programs and activities
Accountable for ensuring training records and associated training tools are maintained and fit for purpose
Provide training to nominated equipment trainers/buddies/Line Leaders to ensure that on the job training provided is effective and efficient
Work with Production Manager, and Reliability and Improvement Manager to implement and maintain 5S, Visual Management, Focus Improvement (problem-solving) and safe systems of work practices within the production environment, through the development and on-going delivery of training programs, reinforcement/communication schedules and regular compliance audits/inspections.
Promote Production Groundrules and Jurlique Mindsets and Behaviours by modelling the way and having timely feedback conversations with team members.
Coordinate induction process for new starters within the Production teams and provide first point of contact to ensure that Production behaviour standards (including performance, safety, and quality) are clear and understood from day one.
Provide Production induction for office-based and farm-based roles (Seed to Skin induction) to ensure understanding of the Production function across the organisation
Qualifications, knowledge and skills:
Cert IV in Training & Assessment
Experience in Manufacturing and Lean principles highly desired but not mandatory
Experience in development and deployment of structured and standardised training programs
Ability to deliver effective feedback and coach others towards improvement
Able to build credibility and trust within the team and cross-functionally
Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to communicate effectively to a variety of audiences
Confident with Microsoft documentation programs (Excel, Word, Outlook and Sharepoint) required
Passion for developing people and teams
Flexibility to adapt training style/approach to engage all learner types and levels
Committed to ongoing self-development
Strong attention to detail and comfortable with planned routines
Ability to organise information to ensure knowledge is not lost and easily accessible
