Sunbeam and Angas Park have been at the forefront of the Australian Dried Fruit Industry for many years dedicated to the growing, processing, packaging and sales of dried fruits. We operate as a wholesaler into Australian retail markets and industrial markets as well as export markets around the world.

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Logistics Administrator

Responsibilities will include:

Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, you will plan, organise and control selected Production Lines to ensure that goods are produced efficiently, on time, within budget and to standard.

Responsibilities will include:

• Maintain effective cost control to meet the agreed budgets.
• Manage rosters to maintain production targets
• Manage material resources to achieve production targets
• Ensure team members are well-versed in company procedures and facilitate training to address any knowledge gaps.
• Monitor and review the performance of the team
• Oversee adherence to food safety and quality standards, ensuring compliance at all times.
• Investigate and resolve production and quality issues
• Implement and enforce quality control and tracking programs to meet quality objectives
• Ensure collaboration and co-ordination between relevant departments including procurement, distribution, production, customer service and management
• Implement cost control measures and programs to minimize waste effectively.

Skills and Experience

• Sound analytical and problem-solving skills, the ability to effectively manage competing priorities and commitments and an ability to work under pressure
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel and Word skills
• Experience in coordinating production activities
• Ability to build and manage relationships with various stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Team player - you love working collaboratively and cross-functionally
• Ability to manage, use and maintain administrative systems, with a high level of attention to detail while maintaining utmost confidentiality and discretion.
• Ability to adapt positively to changing conditions, challenges and unexpected events
• Results-driven with a continuous improvement mindset and a can-do attitude
