About the role:
You will be joining our Regional Victorian Concrete business based in Gippsland. Being part of a fast paced and dynamic team environment where you are key to ensuring our quality products are scheduled efficiently and delivered on time.
Your core responsibilities will be -
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Assist production team through allocating jobs effectively in line with customer and business requirements
- Ensure work is allocated to maximize truck utilization and minimize logistics costs
- Effectively problem solve when issues impacting schedule and delivery arise
- Demonstrate exceptional communication skills to manage all stakeholder requirements and expectations
- Work in a team environment and unsupervised
- Proactively approach safety
Skills and experience that will assist you in this role -
- Previous experience in customer service, with exceptional communication skills
- Previous experience in scheduling/allocating or logistics administration (desirable, not essential)
- Previous experience in concrete or aggregates (desirable, not essential)
- Able to exercise judgment to make effective decisions
- Good organisational skill working to tight deadlines with ability to adjust plans and schedules
- Ability to work autonomously with a high attention to detail
