As a key member of the management team, the Production Operations Manager provides leadership to the Production team in the truck build process to deliver efficiencies and results in the four key areas of safety, quality, delivery, and productivity.
In this role you will:
- Manage the production of truck output through the Production facility
- Ensure operations are conducted in a safe manner at all times
- Provide a commercial focus with an emphasis on cost reduction and budget control
- Develop and monitor Production cost analysis by truck model in order to establish labour build time improvement KPI's
- Implement performance, cost, quality and consistency improvements in products and process through the production department
- Ensure Production compliance through documented processes and procedures together with training and development of employees
- Trade and/or business qualifications
- Previous leadership/supervisory experience in a similar environment with strong communication skills
- Ability to be adaptive, resilient and flexible to the demands of the environment
- Demonstrated experience in continuous improvement
- Demonstrated strong project management skills
- Effective and collaborative problem-solving skills with high level of analytical abilities
