About the Role: Reporting to the Superintendent - Production Planning and Shipping, the successful candidate will provide the day-to-day co-ordination of the short and long-term production schedules and storage strategies. Additionally, to liaise with sales and marketing, associated contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders, to ensure accurate and timely shipment and stock planning. Company housing is available for the successful incumbent. Responsibilities include: Prepare assay estimates for all bulk shipments, providing details of the quantities to be loaded from the various storage locations, including relevant proportions and specific blending requirements to ensure shipment quality is maintained in line with specification; Update Forecast / Systems with latest information on enquires, orders, bag stock production, and analyse impacts on stocks, shipment dates and potential bagging schedules; Prepare bagging schedules and liaise with contractor(s) to ensure timely supply and completion; Visit, inspect and co-ordinate storage facilities, report abnormalities and proactively remediate any adverse findings in consultation with maintenance; and Lead and action Investigations, provide feedback and action necessary reports to sales and marketing for issue to customers as appropriate. About the Candidate: Hold or possess the ability to obtain a MSIC (Maritime Security ID Card); Forklift license preferred; Must hold Current ‘C’ class drivers licence; Excellent stakeholder relationship skills; High level of computer literacy (Excel, Word, Access, Outlook, Internet); Previous experience in mineral Processing, Product Planning, Transport or Logistics preferred; and Ability to forecast, plan, manage stocks and provide detailed reporting as required.
