About the role
Aesir Health is a highly regarded and innovative provider of medical education and Patient Support programs. We work closely with and represent some of the largest multinational companies in the pharmaceutical industry.
This role is based in the Aesir Health headquarters located in the Bayside/ South Eastern suburbs of Melbourne. As a Clinical Care Coordinator, your role is integral to all of our national programs. We have patients starting or continuing treatment and require your expertise to help them with their highly specific medications &/or find solutions for their needs.
Your clinical or medical scientific background will help in handling queries from patients, doctors or other healthcare professionals. In addition, you will be dealing with business professionals across the Pharmaceutical Industry. Your problem solving, communication skills, attention to detail, patient care and your ability to understand clinical disease will help you thrive in this role.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Support, educate (on the telephone) and liaise with patients, doctors and other healthcare professionals across Australia and New Zealand.
- Coordinate clinical support for patients across Australia and New Zealand.
- Complete necessary system documentation for each patient.
- Arrange for nurse visits with our national nurse team.
- Provide necessary support materials to patients and our national nurse team.
- Be part of the head office team with fellow clinical co-ordinators, managers, directors and support staff.
Skills and Experience
- Allied Health, Nursing or Medically related Scientific qualification essential.
- Immunology and pharmaceutical experience (preferred but not essential).
- Computer skills in MS office (Word, Excel, Access)
Great working conditions in offices based in Cheltenham.
This is a full time position - 5 days a week 9am - 5pm.
Part time may also be available to the right candidate.
The role is predominantly in the office and working from home is permissible 1 day per week
This is a wonderful role which is focused on patient care but also gives you an opportunity to work in a commercial environment.
