Merrigong Theatre Company is a not-for-profit company which operates Wollongong’s Illawarra Performing Arts Centre (IPAC), and the Wollongong Town Hall. We also create, commission, produce and present exciting, innovative professional theatre.
Located on the coast in the city of Wollongong, the heart of Dharawal Country, just over an hour south of Sydney, Merrigong Theatre Company is one of Australia’s most dynamic regional performing arts companies and we are now seeking a part-time (22.5 hours p/w) Program Coordinator to join our Program Team.
The successful applicant will share the administration of our Hirer’s Event Program, working closely with producers, artists, and community hirers to ensure their shows are delivered to the highest professional standards. The environment is fast-paced and creative and requires excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail. Experience in event planning and delivery or similar would be an advantage.
