Their Retail business is undergoing a significant transformation, and they are seeking dynamic individuals to join them on this exciting journey.As the Program Development Manager for the Retail Energy business, our client is responsible for assessing transformation initiative values, monitoring program progress, managing capital investment, developing and implementing dashboards, defining success metrics, reporting progress towards transformation targets, preparing business cases, and overseeing benefits realisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessing transformation initiative target values and defining metrics for success.
- Facilitating the delivery of quality information for strategic decision-making across key governance forums.
- Developing and implementing dashboards to track and report the status of the development program and initiatives.
- Continuously monitoring and reporting progress towards targets and validating benefits realised.
- Managing capital investments including preparing documentation, tracking spend, and reporting benefits realisation.
- Supporting efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
- Implementing consistent program management best practices.
- Identifying process improvement opportunities and system solutions.
- Managing relationships with leaders responsible for project planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Providing leadership for new or existing technologies and operational initiatives.
- Evaluating strategic initiatives and communicating program strategy and changes.
- Reviewing selections on bids for contracted projects and providing recommendations.
- Providing input into the capital budget process.
Requirements:
- Advanced knowledge of Retail Energy markets.
- 5+ years of management experience and 5+ years of managing complex programs or projects.
- Ability in program management strategies, disciplines, and theories.
- Strong communication skills with senior levels of management and personnel.
- In-depth knowledge of consulting skills and business process re-engineering.
- Ability in successfully managing complex program and project budgets.
- Decision-making and problem-solving skills under pressure.
- Leadership and motivation skills.
- Advanced ability in risk mitigation and implementing contingency plans.
- Strong proficiency in personal computer and project management tools.
- Clear, straight-forward, and professional communication in various formats.
- Strong financial acumen and experience driving change in a large organisation.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
