About the role

- Permanenet - Full Time
- $65K - $68K per annum + Allowances + Super
Council is seeking a Program Leader to implement work programs and
deliver efficient day-to-day operations for Councils parks, landscapes, and open spaces programs in accordance community requirements. This position will assist the Supervisor with the prioritisation and implementation of these programs as well as carry out general horticulture and labouring duties. The successful applicant will have previous experience in supervision, delivering projects, and using/maintaining horticultural equipment, with ability to priortise duties, and work effectively in a team environment.
Additional Factors
- Participation in after hours and weekend work is a requirement of this position
- Level of fitness required to undertake a broad range of physical tasks
- Working outdoors in hot conditions

- Previous experience in supervision and program delivery with the ability to prioritise tasks, coordinate workload and provide direction to a small team.
- Previous experience performing general labouring duties maintaining parks and gardens.
- Proven experience using and maintaining horticultural machinery and equipment.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
- Sound interpersonal and communication skills.
