Program Manager

We currently seek an experienced Program Manager to lead a team on a multi year program of work.

You will have experience in managing, and coordinating projects relating to  DMS/ADMS/OMS  Applications,  GIS Applications, and Data Migration  and Remediation.

You MUST have a strong background in Program Management preferably in the Utilities sector, with specific experience in overseeing projects involving Control Room operations, GIS applications, and technical activities. If you have experience or knowledge of the  GE Product Suite  this is a distinct advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage programs related to DMS/ADMS/OMS Applications, GIS Applications, and data migration and remediation.
• Work closely with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful project execution.
• Coordinate with technical teams to gain a high-level understanding of the technical activities involved in the projects.
• Oversee the implementation and integration of DMS/ADMS/OMS Applications and GIS Applications, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and objectives.
• Manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, and implement mitigation strategies as needed.
• Ensure adherence to project management best practices, standards, and methodologies.
• Provide regular project status updates and reports to stakeholders and senior management.
• Foster a collaborative and productive work environment, promoting effective communication and teamwork among project team members.
• Serve as a point of contact for stakeholders, addressing concerns, resolving conflicts, and facilitating decision-making processes.

Experience Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Proven experience in program management, particularly in projects involving DMS/ADMS/OMS Applications, GIS Applications, and data migration and remediation.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and techniques.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and work effectively under pressure.
• Experience with the GE Product Suite is a plus.
• Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is desirable.
