What's required to do the role?
This position is full time and based at our Gold Coast Office.
The position will be an integral part of the team and assist and support the Care Services Coordinators with the clerical requirements and the day to day operations of the Aged Care Programs. This includes tasks such as:
- Preparation of client documentation
- Carry out all clerical/administrative duties relevant to the requirements of the program
- Providing support and assistance to the Care Services Coordinator
- Regularly liaising with the Care Services Coordinators, Clients and Support Workers in organising service rosters, documentation and clients' personal files
- Monitoring and maintaining client and staff rosters through computerised system
- Organising quotes/purchase orders and approving invoices for accounts processing
- Delivering customer-focused approach
What you will need:
- Previous experience in clerical duties within the Aged Care sector
- Exceptional time and task management skills
- Strong clerical skills
- Knowledge of the HCP & CHSP programs
- Ability to follow instructions and work within a team
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft office programs and ability to learn new systems quickly
- Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy
- Ability to speak another language and knowledge of the needs of a CALD (culturally and linguistically diverse) community, is desirable
- National Police Check issued by the Australian Federal Police
- Full COVID 19 Vaccination Certificate
