We are seeking an experienced Project Administrator to join Seymour Whyte in this exciting opportunity to work on the M1 Pacific Motorway extension to Raymond Terrace – Heatherbrae Bypass in the Newcastle region.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Newcastle local admin enthusiast to join a major civil construction project. You will be providing administrative and commercial support to the project team as well as providing job costing, purchasing and accounts.

About the role:
- Manage reception duties, mail, filing, minute-taking, and data entry.
- Input and verify delivery dockets, orders, and subcontractor invoices, ensuring adherence to authorisation levels.
- Purchase site goods, excluding permanent materials, ensuring efficient supply chain management.
- Maintain vehicle and equipment registers, facilitating smooth operations.
- Prepare project correspondence, reports, and minutes, ensuring accuracy and organisation.
The successful applicant will have the following skills and experience:
- Certificate III in Business Administration or equivalent qualification.
- Experience in job costing, purchasing, and accounts within the construction industry
- Exceptional data entry skills with a focus on speed and accuracy.
- Strong teamwork ethic, with a demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
